The Ethics, Justice and Human Rights Specialty Group of the AAG exists to further inquiry into normative issues of relevance to geography, and to facilitate collaboration between existing AAG specialty groups and committees whose areas of focus touch on these issues. The overall intent of the EJHRSG is to support inclusive and informed discussion of ethics, justice and human rights issues by geographers as a legitimate and important activity throughout the discipline.

EJHR-L, the Ethics, Justice and Human Rights SG Listserv

EJHR-L has been established to facilitate dialogue and the exchange of information about the geographical dimensions of ethics, justice and human rights issues.  It is anticipated that the list will also serve as the primary venue for discussion and debate within the EJHR Specialty Group.  This may include, but is not limited to:

* conference announcements and calls for papers

* the organization of sessions and panels at the AAG and other professional meetings

* requests for information, sources or teaching materials relating to the geography of ethics, justice and/or human rights

* discussions about matters relating to EJHR activities or procedures

* general discussions and observations about geography and ethics, social justice, and human rights issues in various                                     geographical contexts

The discussion is unmoderated, but participation and posting are limited to List members (this helps to control spam).  Any interested party can join the list by sending an e-mail message to LISTSERV@LISTSERV.ECU.EDU with the command SUBSCRIBE EJHR-L FIRSTNAME LASTNAME in the body of the message.  To post a message to the entire list, send an e-mail to EJHR-L@LISTSERV.ECU.EDU.

Should you have any questions or problems, contact the listserv owner.
