The following chapters and sections from the text will be covered by the course.
Chapter 1: Sections 1-8
Chapter 2: Sections 1, 2, 4-9
Chapter 3: Sections 1-5
Chapter 4: Sections 1-3
The course will also cover the subject of related rates. This topic is not covered by the text. The reading material will be supplied by the instructor.


Important Dates.
Test dates: 9/17, 10/22, 11/19, 12/10. Each test will contribute 25% towards the course grade.
There is no final exam for this course but there will be a 2 hour class on 12/17, 11:00 am – 1:00 pm
There will be no classes on the following dates: 9/3 (Monday schedule), 10/15 (Fall Break), 11/28 (Thanksgiving Break).
Last day to drop this class: October 2.
